white chili


Although this is more of a winter recipe...I think it is perfect for any season!  It is healthy, tasty and easy - yippee!  Not to mention it makes perfect leftovers.  My sweet Aunt Mary passed this recipe along to me and it has been a staple at our house ever since!  Here are the details...

Ingredients:
4 cups cooked diced chicken – I use a pre-roasted chicken
(saves time and adds flavor!)
4 cans Great Northern Beans – drained
6 cloves garlic – roughly chopped
2 yellow onion – chopped
2 can green chilies
4 cups chicken broth
1 t chili powder
½ t cayenne
1 t cumin
1 t oregano
1 T hot sauce
1 T worcheshire
1 16 oz can diced tomatoes
salt & pepper (to taste)

Preparation:
Sauté garlic & onion – add other ingredients and simmer!
